Michael Cohen is a Psychological Assistant, and has been with Allied Behavioral Health, Inc. since May, 2009. He earned his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2004, where he studied the neuropsychology of trauma. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Antioch University at Los Angeles.

Mr. Cohen began his clinical work in 2004 as a counselor for the Suicide Prevention Center, the country’s oldest crisis line. There, he gained experience in crisis intervention serving a population that included those with severe mental illness, substance abusers, homeless, teens, GLBT, and vets.

Mr. Cohen is pleased to be with Allied Behavioral Health, Inc., where he is focusing on treating adults with a wide variety of problems including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
