Jane Knuppel earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker.  She is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.

After graduation, she began a career in public child welfare at Trumbull County Children Services.  At the Agency, she worked and supervised in the following departments: School Social Work, Unmarried Parents, Foster Care, Protective Services, Staff Development, and Parent Education.  She particularly liked and learned from her experience leading parenting groups and working with children who were dealing with separation and loss.

After retiring from the Agency in 2001, she began a second career in Private Practice.  She meets with individuals, couples, families, and groups.She has provided counseling in geriatric facilities.  Her clients range in age from pre-teen to older adult.  She specializes in treating depression and anxiety and behavior and relationship problems.
