Stephen A. Smutak earned his Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 1996. In 1994 he graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. He is presently a Licensed Social Worker with experience treating alcohol and substance abuse disorders, trauma, mood disorders, disability issues, and legal non-compliance. His experience in clinical work began in 1994 with provision of services in a large Non-Profit agency.

He treated substance abuse disorders at another local agency with a long history in the industry. Stephen became director of admissions, and served in a number of roles before he moved on to providing disability services. He quickly became administrator and coordinator of vocational service provision for a nationwide agency.

Stephen has been in private practice since 2001 at our agency. His wealth of knowledge and skill in treating physically and developmentally disabled consumers has broadened the scope and abilities of Allied Behavioral Health Services, Incorporated. He is presently working on obtaining his Licensed Independent Social Worker status.
