Kenna Mycek, L.I.S.W., began working at Allied Behavioral Health Services the beginning of 2016. She is an advanced candidate in child and adolescent psychoanalysis at The Hanna Perkins Center for Child Development. She has completed the two- year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center. Mrs. Mycek is an experienced child, adolescent and adult psychotherapist. She also works in the community providing consultations to child care centers. She works in school settings developing and facilitating anti-bullying programs. In 2014, she co-wrote and co-presented a paper on this work at the meetings of the Association for Child Analysis in Washington D.C. Mrs. Mycek presented a paper on psychoanalytic process at the 2015 Meetings of the American Psychoanalytic Association in New York City. In 2000, she received the Social Worker Recognition Award from Cuyahoga County, based on her outstanding work on behalf of children and families.
