Kristin Hunt earned a Master of Social Science in Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 2000. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ohio University in June 1995. Kristin completed her formal training in Gestalt Therapy at the Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio in May 2008. She is certified in Gestalt Therapy. She earned her Licensed Independent Social Worker status in 2003.
She began her psychotherapy career in 2000 working with female ex-offenders. Following this, she worked in a medical setting treating teen and adult dialysis patients for 4 years involving health issues, chronic illness, end of life issues, and medical compliance issues.
Ms. Hunt has been practicing in an outpatient therapy setting since 2006. She works with teenagers, individuals, families, and groups. Her specialties include treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, chronic health issues, women’s issues, anger management, parenting issues, and the provision of forensic assessments.
